In the open data context, multiple data sources, found at different locations on the Web, generate massive heterogeneous sets of data. Providing a homogeneous view and access to one or more of these data sources while conforming to standards and best practices can facilitate data exploitation in numerous domains. One possible way to do so is to publish data from these sources via data platforms which can support data interlinking and interoperability.
